Grrr….I really wanted to go to Himeji on my upcoming Japan trip but they are doing construction on it. I hope they will finish soon!

The lake is beautiful. It makes me sad to think of it flooded with tourists someday…..although I may very well be one of those tourists!

In reply to JWM. My father always told me, you can not really taste your food until the third bite, so give any new dish 3 bites before you say anything (and NEVER go by looks or smell!) He learned to eat a lot of different food when he was in Japan.
