Kasiwa mochi

One of Japanese’s favorite seasonal sweet, Kashiwa-mochi. Mochi with anko (sweet bean paste) is wrapped with a leaf of Kashiwa (daimyo oak).

The characteristic flavor of Kashiwa leaf recalls the smell and atmosphere of May season.
